Babylons is the first truly community-owned and leading NFT marketplace on Binance Smart Chain sparking creative and engaging journeys in both virtual and real worlds for everyone! Our vision inspires financial freedom, decentralized living, making arts, and meaningful social interaction. We are the game changers, rule breakers and innovators experimenting in the frontier of the intersection between arts and technology, prioritizing our community and ideology above all. Having a working marketplace on the BSC main net was a dream coming to life for us. In order to celebrate our launch as a pioneering NFT marketplace, we created the Babylons Genesis Collection (BGC).
This collection will host 101 unique artworks presented as BEP1155-standard NFTs. First mint of the collection “Stairway to Babylons” was made by the founders of Babylons and designed by Mert Uzbaşlı. Remaining 100 one-of-a-kind NFTs will be minted by 100 global artists from over 30 countries joining our Ambassador Artist program. BGC brings together the works of all generations of artists, emerging talents and recognized names, coming from a wide range of cultures and origins. It is also a manifesto of the diversity of themes and styles that deeply underline and inspire the art of today.
Nearly half of the collection is already minted and some of them are still available for collectors on Babylons NFT Marketplace. The remaining pieces will be minted one by one throughout 2021. Our main purpose with this collection is to enable self-expression from various communities worldwide. Ambassador Artists also have a stronger vote on art related decisions such as contest jurying, Babylonsian Artist Fund management, localization strategies in various locations and much more within our DAO governance model to take place after TGE. Babylons community will grow even more rapidly as our ambassador artists’ NFTs and themselves start to integrate more with Babylons and appear together with various partnerships and collaborations to follow in the near future.
If you wish to become an ambassador artist on Babylons, please fill out the verification form and indicate that you would like to become one of our 100 Ambassador Artists. We will technically review your application and in case you are selected to mint one of the hundred NFTs in BGC, we will make contact personally on your given communication channels few days after your Babylons profile is verified.
