Babylons in 2021: A Yearly Review
2021 was a mind-blowing year for Babylons thanks to our hardworking team and committed community that you have helped us create and inspire. Many more exciting and creative project events will be waiting for you in 2022.
The Babylons you know started back in February 2021. After gathering our founding team and finalizing Babylons business model, we set sail to achieve collective goals and continuously adding on to our dreams. We started off with simple steps like testing out Babylons website on BSC test net, running stress tests and releasing our first official NFT on BSC main net. Once that’s done, we opened app.babylons.io platform for everyone to use in the world.
We started the Babylons Genesis Collection for more of a curated Genesis NFT Art collection to celebrate our d’app launch as an NFT marketplace. Nearly half of the collection is minted by individual artists all around the globe.
Upon our public d’app release on BSC main net, we immediately applied for audit for our smart contracts before we raised a single penny… Certik.io concluded the audit of our smart contracts within roughly 6 weeks and the report can be found here without any unresolved issues, assuring all of our users with the up-most security measures.
In the meantime, we raised $900K from the renowned Web 3.0 Elite in private rounds and an additional $300K in public round in a Dual-IDO manner from 2 launchpads. Both public IDO events on ChainBoost and TrustPad are sold-out hours prior to the end time due to extreme demand, ensuring a successful launch of Babylons Governance Token.
$BABI started it’s journey on ApeSwap with $BANANA rewards to BABI-BNB LP farmers as well as $BABI rewards for $BABI stakers and then started officially trading on PancakeSwap. As of today, we enhanced the DeFi capabilities of $BABI by enabling compound farming for more APY as well as offering custom staking pools where stakers get to participate in Babylons IDO and INO events on top of getting healthy APY in $BABI.
More on the centralized side of things, we listed $BABI on MEXC and Bitexen. Two major central exchanges where approximately $1.5M trading occurs on our pairs daily. Live data and financial history of $BABI can be tracked on both CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap.
By this time, reputable publications in the global media wrote about Babylons such as; Business Insider, Investing.com, Yahoo Finance and we even got featured in Binance.org. With that being said Babylons accomplished to gain over 200K followers distributed to various social media channels mainly focused on Twitter, Discord and Telegram whose links are on the bottom of this article.

2021 ROADMAP, WE SEE AND RAISE!
As we come to an end of the year 2021 which was a year full of activities, we believe it would be quite useful to recap what we have done on Babylons so far. And, here we go with the main highlights that was not on our 2021 roadmap but we have done anyways!:

- Babylons x Istanbul Arts & Antiques Fair
Showcasing more than 300 NFT art pieces. Over 30,000 people in Istanbul participated in this event physically. Have a read of our recap of this major event here. Along with this huge event Babylons grew its family to provide you with better experience. Welcoming incredible members to our Babylons family. With our small yet hard working team we started to push our boundaries by creating successful token offering events, improving our technology and close deals with new partners each day!

Within a year Babylons achieved to become number 1 volume in BSC and 3rd among all networks. Babylons had very successful sales (roughly $19M) thanks to creative games, our hard-working team and committed community members.

You may predict more and bigger things will be happening. Let me tease you a little bit with our 2022 roadmap ideas. We will be starting off with a brand new web design making it more comfortable for collecting information and guidance. Our gaming focus will be on another level creating a space unique for the gaming community. To catch the wave of booming GameFi projects, we aimed to be biggest gaming aggregator on BSC and here we are! After becoming a multichain dApp, we will be biggest across all EVM based chains very soon in 2022 which will be a year full of surprises and many more opportunities! We will be creating more space for arts, sports, real estate and music NFTs. We will very soon release a comprehensive article considering our roadmap in 2022 and beyond.
