BABYLONS NFT ART CONTEST II

3 judges, 5 nominations, 5 winners, $2500 prize pool, may the best NFTs win!

We want as many artists as possible to participate in our competition and everyone has the opportunity to show their art and win. That is why we have come up with several nominations and artists will be able to choose the one that suits their art. Additionally, if you don’t have BNB to mint an NFT, don’t worry! We cover the first minting cost for everyone!

Total Prize Pool: 2500$

Five hundred US dollars for each five winners, one in each of 5 nominations.

Nominations

1. Best 3D Rendered Image

2. Best Photo Manipulation

3. Best Illustration

4. Best 3D Animation

5. Best Abstract Animation

General considerations for all nominations:

• the right amount of details.
• the skillful use of light and shadow.
• interesting color choices.
• a believable and appropriate perspective.
• an artistically pleasing composition.
• a degree of realism.

1 — Best 3D Rendered Image will be judged according to:

• Modeling (Originality of the model will take into account, there shall be no visible topology mistakes)
• Shading (Materials and textures shall be on point depending on the scene)
• Lighting (Lighting is essential for 3D artists, we expect no less)
• Composition (Composition is important in all visual art forms)
• Rendering (Still image rendering quality is important since it’s only a frame)

2 — Best Photo Manipulation will be judged according to:

• Image Rendering.
• Shadows.
• Proportion.
• Texture use.
• Picking Stock Image.
• Color Blending.
• Emphasis On Detail.
• Combining Multiple Images.

3 — Best Illustration will be judged according to:

• Concept
• Composition
• Shape
• Color
• Edges
• Creation Technique
• Paint Quality or Material Handling

4 — Best 3D Animation will be judged according to:

• Uniqueness and originality
• Professional quality (neatness and craft)
• Aesthetic quality (design, composition, color/tones)
• Concept, selection and application of materials
• Complexity, level of digital technology used.

5 — Best Abstract Animation

• Designs can be abstract or geometric, 2D or 3D
• Conceptual Composition
• Professional quality (neatness and craft)
• Originality
• Aesthetic quality
• Level of digital technology used.

Timeline:

Contest opens for submissions on July 26, 2021, at 10:00 PM (CEST).

Deadline for submissions is on August 7, 2021, at 10:00 PM (CEST).

Winners will be announced on August 8, 2021, at 10:00 PM (CEST).

Rewards will be distributed on August 8, 2021, at 11:00 PM (CEST).

Conditions:

1. Prepare your art according to the selected nomination.
2. Connect to app.babylons.io and fill your profile.
3. Mint your art under “BNACII” collection, short for Babylons NFT Art Contest II.
4. Choose “Art” as a category while minting.
5. Fill the verification form, if you haven’t already.
6. Post on Twitter link to your art using #BabylonsRising #Babylons #BNACII hashtags.

Winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges consisting of 3 Ambassador Artists @ahmets_kaplan, @hamzakirbas, and @AleyArtist.

Rules and Submission Criteria:

1. The panel of judges reserves the right to disqualify any project due to poor quality, incompleteness, poor taste, inappropriateness of content.
2. All entries must be original and verifiable (no plagiarism). Submissions cannot contain any copyrighted material from third parties.
3. @BabylonsNFT reserves the right to disqualify entries when they cannot verify authenticity and originality.
4. By submitting an entry, you are permitting @BabylonsNFT to share your work on all social media platforms and public-facing channels.
5. Entries must be submitted on https://app.babylons.io/ and Twitter with the accompanying hashtags. Users must follow @BabylonsNFT Twitter account.
6. @BabylonsNFT reserves the right to exclude offensive and ineligible submissions.
7. @BabylonsNFT reserves the right to reject or move an entry to another category as it deems appropriate
8. Babylons reserves the right to disqualify anyone who is deemed to break any of the above rules or act with malicious intent.
9. @BabylonsNFT reserves the right to cancel, amend or change any contest or contest rules at our sole discretion.
10. All of the conditions above apply to all the stages of the contest.
